PROFESSOR LESLIE R. MARCHANT

was the Foundation Director of the Centre for East Asian Studies at the University of Western Australia, and is a member of the Faculty of the University of Notre Dame, Western Australia.

DR. HAL G. P. COLEBATCH

has written a number of books and articles, including Blair's Britain (Claridge, London, 1999), and is a commentator on Australian and international political and cultural issues.

MR. BILL MUEHLENBERG

is Vice-President of the Australian Family Association and has written widely on family and social matters.

DR. ANDREW CAMPBELL

has previously contributed articles to this journal examining Soviet intelligence, intelligence methodologies and clandestine political action in regard to Australian-United States relations, and has a special interest in history, development and trends in Russian intelligence services.

MR. R. J. STOVE

is a writer and commentator on public affairs and has had numerous articles published in Quadrant, National Observer, Chronicles and The American Conservative, and his work The Unsleeping Eye: A Brief History of the Secret Police and Their Victims was recently published by Duffy and Snellgrove.

PROFESSOR PHILIP AYRES

has a professorial position at Monash University and is the author of numerous articles and of biographies of Malcolm Fraser and Sir Owen Dixon.

DR. I.C.F. SPRY, Q.C.

is a Queen's Counsel, the Editor of National Observer and a former member of the Law Faculties of the University of Melbourne and Monash University.
